dialogue cause and effect

The dialogue about “cause and effect”

Dhea : Hi, how are you?
Inggi : Hello dhea, I'm fine. And you?
Dhea : I'm fine too. I have a question for you.
Inggi : What is that?
Dhea : If the nail is inserted into the water what effect will occur?
Inggi: Hmm,
The nail inserted into the container containing the water are corroded due to the presence of O2 and H2O.
Dhea : okey inggi, thank you. Now I understand.
Inggi : you’re welcome de.

    1. t can be done by:

Painting: The paint forms a barrier between the metal and the environment, namely moisture.
Sacrificial anodes: Utilization of a metal lower on the Galvanic Series to be attacked first, instead of the metal in use. The sacrificial anode can be replaced as needed.
Passivation: Some corrosion processes will create solid metal compounds that will coat the initial site of corrosion and prevent further corrosion at that site.
Cathodic Protection: In the illustration below the iron is coated with a thin layer of zinc which is acting as a sacrificial layer for the iron. Instead of the the iron corroding, the Zn acts as the sacrificial anode in the cell and protects the iron.

    1. Corrosion is a natural process, which converts a refined metal to a more chemically-stable form, such as its oxide, hydroxide, or sulfide

  5. Is it only oxygen and water that can cause corrosion? Explain in detail
